This is a rare pencil signed Gerard Puvis embossed foil print entitled, "Goblet Man" made from wine bottle foils from the Château Branaire-Ducru the Saint-Julien appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. Gerard Puvis is a renowned French artist who exhibits around the world. He produces whimsical celebrations of wine, here paying homage to a particularly expensive variety. He first crafts sculptures from the neck foils of wine bottles then creates prints that reference the original 3 dimensional pieces. Many of his prints have appeared on wine bottles around the world. The prints are created from handmade engravings from an original plate; they are embossed and sealed with the foils. This foil work is in an original gold frame making it a stunning piece for any wine lover''s wall. Invite your friends to admire the joy of wine shown in this work. An unsigned, unframed, similar foil print, though from a different bottle, was originally available from Kelham Vineyards for $150.
