We used it with parchment paper to try it. Came up pretty good and fast .... however, we have too many people to feed...(-:
Great size overall, portable... can be used outside if you have an electrical source. Great for small kitchens, dorms, or office.
The stone is about 12" however, I would not recommend to do 12", about 10" would be better future size for this machine.
