1978 Birthday Letter from Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter to NC Citizen

This is a vintage 1978 White House response letter to a North Carolina citizens birthday from the Jimmy Carter White House. It has Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carters signatures at the bottom, though I''m assuming it was some sort of auto pen or printed and not an actual real live signature. Otherwise, I''d be selling it for a lot more.

What makes this so cool is that this clearly meant the world to this person to get a response from the White House back in 1978. The person had the letter and the envelope custom framed in his town of Gastonia.

You can also see the original 15 cent stamp from 1978 on the envelope, a stamp of Gastonia, NC on the front.

On the back, you can see the business sticker of the custom framing shop in Gastonia.

All in all, this is a neat sentimental correspondence piece that shows the White House actually acknowledge a citizens birthday.
